Last night when we Lisa and I got home from work we decided to go to Edaville USA. A few weeks ago I asked the girls (Mandy & Leah) if they wanted to go and a trip was planned for last Friday (7th). Unfortunately bad weather canceled the trip. It may be a few weeks before schedules align again and we all make the trip together.Last night Lisa and I decided to go alone just for the fun of it and to see it after the fresh snow fall. I haven’t been since I was like 8 years old. It’s truly amazing how different things are in your memories. I remember being a child looking at the puppets in the houses and them being huge! I was surprised to see how different they all seemed.
We had a great time walking around viewing the lights, drinking hot cocoa and talking about our child hood experiences. "Evil Edaville" was never something Lisa enjoyed as a kid. Mid July trips to Edaville in the summer heat were not fond memories for her. Now that Lisa has experienced Edaville the way I remember, we both agree "Edaville’s festival of lights" is the best time of the year to go. It was fun and we look forward to going again!
