I had a moment...

I was at my desk the other day reading some company emails. At the bottom of one was a small green tree logo with the caption "please consider the enviorment before printing this email" I thought to myself that's a noval idea but then the other side of my brain kicked in. What hurts the envorment more? Using paper to make a hard copy to file and keep. Or keeping it digital and the resourses it takes to power up the machine each and every time you access that infomation. Computers use electricity but not many people consider that most of out electrical power comes from burning oil. So considering the drain on our forest and oils reserves it makes you wonder which is realy worse.
